A full time position
Remuneration: Scottish Episcopal Church Clergy Standard Stipend
St Peter’s is situated in Newington, an attractive diverse neighbourhood in Edinburgh’s Southside. We enjoy a rich variety of liturgical traditions and music, but are keen to develop more flexible patterns of worship. We work actively in our community, individually and in partnership with others, and recognise that there are real opportunities to build pathways into faith and membership of St Peter’s.
We seek a pastor and congregational leader who will:
- provide pastoral care;
- lead worship, preach and teach;
- develop an underpinning of prayer for the life of the congregation;
- ensure good governance of Vestry (church council) and administration and its support of staff and volunteers; and,
- engage ecumenically with community.
For more information or an informal discussion please contact The Very Reverend Frances Burberry (Dean of Edinburgh) on: 0131 315 0404 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
