COP 26 Pilgrimage: 18-29 October 2021

All details for this Pilgrimage can be found here

A pilgrimage from Dunbar to Glasgow to reflect on the climate and ecological crisis in anticipation of COP26 – the UN Climate Conference described as the last best chance to make the changes needed to keep global warming below the 1.5 degree change level.

The pilgrimage includes a public engagement programme to accompany the walkers and encourage participation en route. It is an arts and culture programme working with Interfaith Scotland and Eco-Congregations. The programme is now pretty finalised, and is available here, with activities, worship, reflection, and celebration together throughout the pilgrimage. You are welcome to join for any stage of the journey and to participate in the activities – some of them need to be booked, but all details are here:

The Episcopal Church will be represented at every point along the way, but participating organisations include the Quakers, Deep Time Walk Project, Interfaith Edinburgh, Glasgow and Scotland, John Muir’s Birthplace, North Light Arts, Scottish Dance Theatre, and more.
