Godly Play Circle

Join a Godly Play Circle in north Edinburgh on this Sunday afternoon.

Godly Play has been developing since the 1970s and in our Godly Play afternoons, we enter into parables, silence, sacred stories and sacred liturgy in order to discover God, ourselves, one another and the world around us.

At the heart of Godly Play is creating sacred space, building and working in community, learning religious language and using religious language to make meaning. One strength of Godly Play is that it does not depend on knowledge, but on personal response and spiritual engagement with God’s word within a supportive, safe community of friends. Consequently it ‘works’ with all ages, including adults, and it works well in groups with a wide age or ability range.
