“I Will Give You Rest”: Summer Retreat in Daily Life Opening Session

What is a Retreat in Daily Life?

An opportunity to take some time out of our often busy lives to pray and to listen to God. It is a time to reflect and deepen our relationship with God, or to discern more of God’s call in our lives.

We meet together as a whole group at the beginning and the end of the retreat. In between each participant meets once a week 1:1 with a prayer guide for about 30-40 minutes and takes time on their own to pray each day for whatever time they can manage (perhaps 20-30 minutes).  The prayer guide will provide some suggestions for prayer and help you review the previous week.  You and your guide can choose to meet up at your guide’s home (if geography allows) or on Zoom.

Opening session – on Zoom Monday 18 May 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Closing session – on Zoom Monday 15 June 7.30pm to 8.30pm

Cost

The suggested contribution is £45 – concessions from £25  (please ask about bursaries)
