We all know what it’s like to wait. But the people in the Nativity story were waiting hopefully. As Advent begins, this Quiet Day is an invitation to pause and make space in our hearts for this season, to ponder what it means to wait with hope even in difficult times, to pray with open hands for ourselves and for our world.
The day will draw on a mixture of reflective approaches and creative material including Scripture, art, poetry and music and will include guided reflections and individual quiet time. Lunch and all refreshments are included. For more information and to book visit www.heartinpilgrimage.org.uk
