South London Jazz Orchestra

As part of their Edinburgh Tour, South London Jazz Orchestra is delighted to return to Portobello and bring you a fun evening featuring music from the different eras of Big Band Jazz, from Count Basie to Freddie Hubbard and more. Dancing in the Aisles and Feet tapping is strongly encouraged.

South London Jazz Orchestra (SLJO) is a diverse group of talented musicians – a big band with the emphasis on big! Our aim is to share our love of jazz around London and beyond, and have as much fun as possible while doing so. The band regularly plays at a variety of venues in & around South London, including bandstands, community halls, pubs, established Jazz Venues and more.
