Many churches across the Diocese of Edinburgh offer spaces that can be hired by community groups, charities, and organisations for meetings, events, rehearsals and gatherings. Below you will find details of some of the venues currently available. Linlithgow: St Peter’s Church

St Peter’s Church, with its light, airy extension and garden, is located in the middle of Linlithgow High Street, close to shops, cafes and restaurants. It is situated directly across from Linlithgow Loch, which is about 50 yards away.

Our premises can accommodate up to 50 people in the church itself and upstairs, the extension can accommodate around 30. There is a well-furnished kitchen with cooker, fridge, crockery and cutlery plus tea- and coffee-making facilities. A lift makes the extension in the upper level accessible for disabled people. There are two accessible toilets, one on each level. The extension looks out onto a beautiful ‘rig’ style garden with some seating on the lower and upper level.

The acoustics and intimacy of the church itself make it a well-loved venue for musicians. The church is carpeted and there are single seats, therefore seating arrangements can be flexible.
