St Martin’s, Dalry, Edinburgh

St Martins DalryABOUT THE CHURCH
We are a church where faith engages both heart and mind, and a church that is rooted in its local neighbourhood. Flanked by the tenements of Gorgie/Dalry, St Martin’s believes in the centrality of community – our need of each other and of God.

In Autumn 2010, St Martin’s embarked on an exciting and creative venture, in partnership with the community, to modernise and revitalise our versatile and well-used building at the heart of the community of Gorgie and Dalry.

Services
Sunday:
Morning services are at 10.30am where we celebrate Communion. All are welcome. There is a children’s church during term time and they follow the same lectionary readings as the main service – this is run for P1 upwards. At the end of the service the children tell us what they’ve been up to. There’s also an area in the church with toys and books for pre-school aged children. We have a choir which sings on Sundays and for festivals. They work with our organist Chris Johnson. If you would like further details of the choir, please contact us.
