BUILDINGS
The Diocesan Finance & Management Committee is the principal committee that oversees the practical operation of the diocese – its finances, communication, buildings and office personnel. It is responsible to the Standing Committee of Diocesan Synod.

Apply for permission to make changes to church buildings. This is submitted to the Diocesan Buildings Committee for approval under the Canon

Commission a ‘snapshot’ report on your church, hall and rectory every 5 years. It will direct your maintenance programme and should be submitted to the Diocesan Buildings Committee – partly due to its oversight of property but also so that it can identify any help that can be offered.
All reports MUST include the relevant Pro-forma (see below) which should be included in your instruction to the architect/surveyor
