A six week course 5 March – 9 April
Delivered online and through a weekly group based at St Martin’s Dalry Road, Edinburgh
Why am I here? What is mine to do? Who am I called to be? If these questions touch something you are yearning for in your spiritual life, then join us for refreshment, vitality and deepening in prayer. Adventures in Faith is partnering with the Shalem Institute to offer this course with both online and in-person components. Recognising and living into one’s call is a lifelong process of discernment. Our time together will invite you to look at your life, no matter what age, and notice your unique contribution to God’s vision. Through storytelling and sharing of experience, the course will help renew your appreciation of life and cultivate your attention, receptivity and responsiveness to how the Spirit is leading and guiding from within, through nature, and through the people who inspire you.
Week 1: What is Mine to Do?, Week 2: Calling to Embody Love, Week 3:
Natural World, Week 4: Role Models, Week 5: Challenges and Underlying Gifts, Week 6: Review and Reflection
Each week, you will receive a Sunday email with a link to new course material online. You will be able to listen to the audio stories and guided meditations as many times as you wish throughout the week from your home computer. Teachings are hosted by YouTube. There will also be opportunities for journaling personally and optional shared journaling online with the larger
eCourse community who will be taking part from across the world. On Thursdays, you will receive an email to check in around the course material from that week and this will also be complimented by meeting in person on
Thursday evenings in Edinburgh on 9, 16, 23 & 30 March and 6 & 20 April 7.30 – 9pm. This small group will be facilitated by Elspeth Strachan. You will be able to access the online material for two weeks after the course ends.

The cost for the online course and weekly group is £75 (£65). Bursary help is
