A is for app

Thy Kingdom Come, the ecumenical global prayer event, ran from Ascension until Pentecost (29 May to 8 June), and as part of it we were encouraged to pray in our own way. To support this, and with the help of Practical Ideas for Praying, a wonderful wee booklet written by St James the Less, Penicuik and St Mungo’s West Linton, we created an A to Z of ways to pray. We hope this will be useful until the next Thy Kingdom Come, and beyond!

The A to Z includes videos of people from across the diocese describing one way they pray, plus content from the Practical Ideas for Praying booklet and links to useful resources throughout.

We’ll keep adding to the A to Z, and we’d love your ideas! Email dmmcadmin@dioceseofedinburgh.org if you’d like to suggest a way to pray.

Visit the A to Z, and download the Practical Ideas for Praying booklet, on our dedicated page.
