Our Autumn Diocesan Synod takes place on Thursday 24th October 2024. Voting members of Synod are:
HOUSE OF CLERGY – those holding an Authorisation, Commission or Licenced
HOUSE OF LAITY – The Lay Representative in each charge (or Alternate if unable to attend) and the senior Lay Officers of the Diocese (Diocesan Secretary, Diocesan Registrar and Diocesan Chancellor)
Members of congregations are permitted to attend, at the discretion of the Bishop, to hear the business but are not permitted to vote.
The event begins with Synod Eucharist at 5.30pm.
