Baptism & Confirmation
Baptism is the full admission into the life of the church. The Scottish Episcopal Church believes in one baptism for the forgiveness of sins, and therefore recognises the baptisms of all trinitarian churches.
Baptism is into the life of the church, and therefore except in specific circumstances, would be during a normal service of the congregation of the church.
If you wish to be baptised or to baptise your child, please speak to the rector of your nearest church, who will be able to advise you on the expectations and practice of that individual congregation.
