MAUNDY THURSDAY 2 April: 7 pm, Eucharist and Washing of Feet. The Stripping of the Altar. The service ends in darkness and silence.
GOOD FRIDAY 3 April: 2 pm, Good Friday Liturgy
HOLY SATURDAY – 4 April: Easter Vigil at St Salvador’s – to be confirmed
EASTER DAY 5th April: 9am, Blessing and Lighting of Paschal Candle. Said Eucharist. 10.30 am, Sung Eucharist

Sunday, 29 March: Palm Sunday: 10:30am High Mass with Procession down the Royal Mile
Please come prepared to join the procession which will go outside and down the Royal Mile before returning to the church.
Wednesday 1 April: Holy Week Service of Tenebrae: 7:30pm
Thursday 2 April: Maundy Thursday: Mass of the Lord’s Last Supper: 7:30pm High Mass
Friday 3 April: Good Friday
Saturday 4 April: Holy Saturday: Children’s Service in the Church & Easter Garden preparation with Activities: 11am
Sunday 5 April: The Great Vigil of Easter: Vigil High Mass at 5am followed by a Vigil Breakfast.
Next, all are invited to join the choir on Calton Hill to sing Handel’s ‘Hallelujah Chorus’ to greet the new Easter day.

Sunday 6 April: Easter Day: Paschal Evensong and Benediction: 6:30pm

Easter Monday Walk, 6 April
“Last year we had a successful walk along the cycle path to Eddleston. So once again this is being planned, this time from Innerleithen to Glenbenna (near Walkerburn). Starting at St Andrew’s church around 2pm and ending at Cedric’s home for sandwiches and cake about 3.30pm. For those not wishing to walk, just head to Glenbenna by car.
