Are you wasting energy on Heating? Our free temperature monitoring programme can help.
HeatHack helps community groups plan changes to their buildings that will reduce energy use and move to net zero. Poor heating controls waste energy!
At this event, we’ll give you a volunteer-built thermal monitor which uses your building’s wifi to send temperature and relative humidity readings to the internet.
HeatHack will explain how you can use it to check your heating controls and think about the comfort of the people who use your buildings.
Event details:
We have room for up to 20 representatives from community venues at this event but if demand is high we will look at what else we can do to support you – please do register and let us contact you again. In this instance, preference will be given to early registrations from Edinburgh NE.
This event shows one element of our wider HeatHack programme for community venues, which is being adopted by the Scottish Episcopal Church for their Net Zero Workshops. For further information about the full programme please take a look at our programme guide.
HeatHack is grateful for funding from the Royal Academy of Engineering Ingenious programme.
