SPIRITUAL CARE – DISCOVERING MEANING, PURPOSE AND HOPE

Earlier this year, the Scottish Government published its Spiritual Care Framework and Delivery Plan. FiOP was a member of the Advisory Group and Co-Chaired the Education Sub-Group with Gerrie Douglas Scott. The Framework represents the considerable developments resulting from the increased professionalism in spiritual care over the last 20 years. It firmly establishes the role of spiritual care as an integral part of health and social care
This ZOOM seminar which will be led by the Rev Mark Evans, DSC (who led the development of the framework) will present the framework and open discussion on the potential of faith communities to embed spiritual care in our health and social care services.
